TAXATION

I support low taxes! I listened to an elderly man who worked his whole life and paid his home off but pays more in property taxes today than his old house payments. “Can you believe that?” Especially when the elderly have to pay for things like prescriptions!  As County Executive, I will ask County Council to rescind the increased property tax. Over taxing citizens leads to more wasted money and less opportunity; and more often, with no increase in services or better quality.
